What makes working at s-peers special for you?
"For me, the family corporate culture is particularly important".
I found my way to s-peers from another consultancy through a recruiting firm and started in February 2022
- I mainly work with SAP BI technologies. Both with on-premise technologies like HANA or BW4/HANA, but also with cloud technologies like SAC and DWC.
- The family corporate culture is particularly important to me. This is characterized by flat hierarchies and open cooperation.
- I appreciate the cohesion among colleagues, you always get support if you have questions or problems.
- In addition, I get enough freedom to be able to organize my working day flexibly.

"I appreciate the opportunity to drive issues myself"
- I have been with s-peers for a little over 3 years. During my Master's degree in Business Administration, I discovered my interest in coding through financial modeling and statistics. In particular, I was initially interested in the topic of Data Science. Since I grew up in Konstanz, I stumbled across s-peers while looking for a suitable job in this field.
As already mentioned, I was originally primarily interested in data science topics. In the meantime, however, I'm more technically inclined, i.e. I'm interested in how, for example, the written code can be made available and scalable in the cloud. I am especially excited to continuously learn about and apply new open source technologies. In my projects I work with a number of technologies:
- The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) plays a key role in this. The use of GCP enables me to develop secure, scalable and cost-efficient solutions for my customers.
- Furthermore, I use Python, one of the most widely used programming languages, which is versatile and offers a rich ecosystem of libraries and tools. Docker, an open source container orchestration tool, helps me manage and deploy my applications in a standardized environment
- In terms of data management, I rely on SQL, a widely used database management language. In addition, I use Git, a distributed version control system, to manage my code and configurations.
- To deploy infrastructure for my projects, I use Terraform, an open-source infrastructure-as-code tool. This helps me to deploy my infrastructure in a secure, repeatable and scalable way
- Finally, I also use open source tools such as Data Building Tool (DBT) and Airbyte to integrate, transform, and analyze data. These tools help me create an efficient data pipeline and bring together data from different sources
- Together, these technologies form my tech stack and allow me to develop fast, secure and efficient solutions for my customers.
- The possibility to drive topics yourself
- Good ideas and personal initiative are encouraged and supported
- In addition, I like the almost familiar environment in the team

"At s-peers, what counts is a strong team spirit, commitment and trust."
- I studied economics and then joined s-peers as a consultant - today I have been with the company for a good two years. Before my studies, I completed a commercial apprenticeship and initially worked in this profession.
- I work mainly in planning projects with SAP Analytics Cloud but also with BW/4 or Embedded BW
- We implement our projects with agile project management methods such as Scrum
- That we always see the person and his or her individual strengths behind the consultant
- What counts at s-peers is what is also important to me: a strong team spirit, commitment and trust.

- I have been with s-peers for almost 2 years now. I became aware of s-peers during my studies via the job portal of the HTWG Konstanz and applied for the position as a Masterand.

"I am always on the cutting edge of technologies with s-peers".
- After completing my master's degree in computer science at the HTWG in Constance, I applied to various IT consulting firms in the region of German-speaking Switzerland. s-peers AG convinced me the most. This impression has been confirmed for me year after year since 2018.
As a BI consultant, I am involved in the analysis, design and development of various specialized reporting solutions. From data extraction from third party systems to query design, the following technologies are involved:
